Here is the News...

In case you didn't have a clue by my last blog, I am prego. I just suffered two months of terrible nausea and morning/all day sickness. Not fun! I'm in my second trimester now and that is starting to fade away. I'm still tired all the time and sick sometimes, but not constantly like before. Now I'm starting to hit the cravings. Pickles is my afternoon craving. I also have been craving a Pork Chop Johns sandwich from Montana. Sara is going to save me though and bring me some when she comes up next month for our birthday! We had been planning a huge trip or destination celebration for our 30th, but things have change with my pregnancy since I haven't been feeling well. I still hope Sara has fun just coming here. My parents and Andrew and Jenn are also coming out, so the whole fam will be here. I can't wait!

Kids say the darndest things

This winter I have been a little itchy because of dry skin. After all, it is my first dry winter after spending 8 years in very humid weather. Yesterday, I was relaxing on my bed with Colleen while she was watching a movie. I had an itch on the side of my head that I scratched. immediately, Colleen looked over at me with a very serious look and said "Mommy, if you don't stop scratching you're going to have to wear a cone." She cracks me up.

Imagination

Colleen has quite the imagination. I've been Auntie Sara for 2 days now. Yesterday Colleen and her little brother came to live with me, because her mom and dad moved to Mexico. They can't come get Colleen and Nolan, because the mud is too deep for anybody to drive. They can't fly to get them, because the fog is too thick for anything to fly and apparently the fog and mud situation is going to last forever. Luckily, I'm a great aunt and embrace the challenge of raising my niece and nephew alone.
